As our last coffee shop in Saskatoon we decided to check out a little cafe called Collective Coffee. They were located on a main street with a bunch of artisan shops which was really cool.

The Interior

Their was a big garage door located in the front and on the inside there was some seating surrounding the bar. At the back of the cafe there was more seating which was nice to see. The bar had a great selection of coffee and tea options which is always a bonus when they carry a couple different options. The coffee selections were between Timbertrain and Elysian which are both located in Vancouver.

The Drinks

I was extremely excited to see that they were doing Pour Over’s so I ordered a Timbertrain Sawana Ethiopian for $4.95. It was really good and smooth. You could really get all the sweet flavours from this coffee.

My wife ordered an Iced Earl Grey tea which turned into an Iced London Fog for $5.25 and it was absolutely delicious. Both my wife and daughter were excited to see that they were using a tea called Genuine which is a division of Detour Coffee Roasters out of Toronto. She said it was one of the best Iced London Fog she had in a while.

My daughter ordered an Iced Hibiscus Tea for $5.25 and it was really good. The flavour of the hibiscus was not overpowering or anything. It had amazing flavour as well.

The Service

The staff working were very friendly and very chatty which is always really nice. It was also cool to see when the guy handed me the pour over he had a small sipping glass of the coffee to see how it tasted. I have only seen that done in two other places before.

The Hours

They are open Tuesday to Saturday from 8:00am to 4:00pm temporarily.

Parking

There is only street parking on this main road and you will have to pay.

Last Words

This place was very friendly and amazing to visit. The coffee and the iced teas were very delicious and the street was really nice to walk up and down visiting some of the other shops.
