Our first stop of the day was Sparrow Coffee to see Daryl who had suggested Happy Hi. It is a really amazing location with a bunch of windows all along the two sides of the shop. The shop is located in more of an Industrial location so it was nice and quiet when we visited.
The Interior
Since it is COVID times we couldn’t enjoy the drinks inside, but when we went in to order we got a chance to take a look. After you enter, to the right there is shelves with books and the coffee that Sparrow is selling. They include Transcend, Luna, Rogue Wave, Rooftop, Quietly, and Phil and Sebastian. It is a really great selection of Canadian Roasters. Beside that they have their bar which is normally filled with baked goods that they make in the kitchen behind the bar. There is a bunch of seating inside and near the back of the shop we noticed that there is accordion doors that would be really nice to have open on warm days like today.
The Drinks
They had a pretty good selection of different drinks that we could order, which was nice to see that there was a variety to choose from.
I ordered a Latte made with Quietly Coffee for $4.75 and it was smooth with great flavour. It was vibrant and delicious. My daughter ordered a small Latte for $4.25 and she concurred with all the comments I was saying about my Latte.
My wife ordered a London Fog for $4.50 and it was absolutely amazing. When she opened the cup she even had latte art. She is always excited when she gets some latte art. It didn’t taste like a London Fog made from a tea bag. It was delicious!
The Service
It was nice to have a chance to talk to Daryl about Sparrow as well as City Perk where we plan on visiting today as well. The staff was friendly and knowledgable about their products and everything that they had in store.

Last Words
