As we were driving along 4th Street NE we came across this little cafe that we decided to check out. You probably wouldn’t even know it is there unless you live nearby.
The Interior
There is limited seating inside which is alright since they have a patio along the one side of the building. They also have a couple fridges located on the right when you walk in that has a variety of different food options that you can buy. They have frozen Coco Brooks pizzas that you can also get. On the left there is a bar with the kitchen located behind.
The Drinks
After looking over their menu and asking a couple different questions about a couple of the drinks we decided on a two.
I ordered a latte for $5.00 and it was good. The flavour was good and you could tell that it had a good smooth texture.
My daughter and wife got a Local Lilac Fizzy Lemonade for $4.95 and it was refreshing and amazing. It was made with real lemon juice and lemon peel which was in big pieces. It is always a bonus when you are drinking a beverage with lemon peel and it doesn’t fit up the straw. The only thing we made a comment on was instead of using Club Soda, maybe try and make it with San Pelligreno, then there is less of a flavour and the other flavours can shine more.
The Service
The staff were friendly and they had a bunch of different options on the menu. The best thing my daughter seen is that they give students 15% off every purchase, you just have to show your ID. We thought that was really cool thing for a business to do.
The Hours
Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 5:30pm
Saturday – 9:00am to 4:00pm
Sunday – Closed
Parking
There is a small lot in front of the building, but there is a bunch of street parking on either side.
Last Words
We would definitely head back to this little cafe and try some of their menu options since everything sounded really delicious. If you are a student, make sure you head over and get caffeinated, just check that you have your ID so you can get 15% off your purchase.
