House of Funk

Lets start by saying this is quite a drive from where we were staying, this cafe/bar was located all the way in North Vancouver. The outside of the bar was really cool, it had a huge covered patio area with really big garage doors. Inside there is a big area that the beer is made and then there is a bunch of tables to sit and enjoy the coffee or beer.

The Drinks

After looking over all the drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic we thought we should try some different things.

Both my daughter and I ordered and Iced Latte for $4.70, they were very refreshing with nice flavour. It was made with their technicolour beans which was delicious.

My wife had a flight of beer that had 4 different kinds of their common beer. Then my daughter also had a 4oz Funk Juice for $3. They both really enjoyed this one, it tasted a little like Buch and it had a great flavour.

The Service

The staff were friendly but because the bar was really busy I felt like we didn’t get the best service. They kept seating people on the patio and the server that was out there didn’t give the best service, it took forever to get our receipt to pay.

Every Day – Open to 4:00pm

Parking

There was a lot out front that had a bunch of parking.

Last Words

I don’t know if we would drive all the way to North Vancouver to visit their location again, but I do know that I will continue to buy their coffee beans in the future for sure.
